Solitaire

Solitaire here is the classic game, also called Klondike. You win by moving all 52 cards onto the four foundations at the top right, one pile per suit, from Ace up to King.

The table

• Seven columns. The first has one card, the last has seven, and only the top card of each starts face up.
• The stock (top left) holds the other 24 cards. Tap it to turn cards over onto the waste pile next to it.

Moves

• In the columns, put a card on one that's one higher and the other colour: a red 6 on a black 7.
• You can move a whole run of face-up cards together.
• Only a King (or a run starting with a King) can go into an empty column.
• When you move the last face-up card off a face-down one, it turns over.
• The top card of the waste can go to a column or a foundation. Foundation cards can come back down to a column too.
• When the stock runs out, tap its empty space to turn the waste back over. You can go through it as often as you like.

1 card or 3 cards

Choose how many cards the stock turns over each time. With 3, only the top one can be played, so it's harder. Your record keeps both apart as well as together.

Controls

• Drag cards where you want them, or just tap a card to send it to the best place.
• Undo as often as you like. Hint shows a move.
• Keyboard: Space turn the stock · Z undo · H hint · N new game
• When every card is face up and the stock is empty, the cards go up by themselves.

Your record

A win counts when all 52 cards are home. A game counts as a loss if you deal a new one or give up after making a move. Leaving the page doesn't count: your game is waiting when you come back, on any device you're signed in on.
